One of the options to make your event interactive is the Question-and-Answer Tool, which you can set up individually. This gives your event attendees the chance to interact directly with you, ask questions or leave a comment.
To set up the Question-and-Answer Tool, click on Events in the left main menu and then on Settings.
- Scroll down to Questions during the live event (1). If this is enabled, attendees will be able to ask the speakers questions during the event using the text box in the attendee view.
- If you activate Questions before the event starts (2), the attendees can also ask questions before the event.
- If you activate the item Show questions to attendees (3), the attendees can also see the questions asked in the live view.
- If the item Show only 'live' questions to attendees (4) is activated, only the questions that have been previously placed in the live column by the owner, a moderator or event manager will be visible to the participants.
- Participants can vote on questions via Question Voting (5).
- Via Auto-approve questions (6), all questions asked are automatically released and displayed to the speaker. A moderator who filters the questions in advance is no longer necessary.
- The item Anonymous questions (7) prevents questions from being assigned to the questioner.
- The item Mandatory name (8) requires participants to enter their name in order to ask questions. If Anonymous questions is enabled, this option will be disabled automatically.
