How do I activate live transcription as an Event-Manager?

Live transcriptions are real-time captions of spoken content that are displayed on screen to the audience. By providing the spoken text in a readable form, it allows attendees of your event to better understand the spoken language. SlideSync uses advanced technologies such as automatic speech recognition (ASR) and deep learning to create accurate, high-quality subtitles for webcasts in real time. For more exciting information on live transcription, visit our MediaEvent Services homepage.

To activate live transcription, click on Events in the left main menu, select your event from the list, and then click on Settings.

Scroll down to the item Streaming configuration and activate the toggle live transcription.

Live transcription is now activated for your event.

Please pay attention to the following aspects if you have activated live transcription:

Language

We recommend using an external microphone for the best possible results of your subtitles. Please speak as deliberately and clearly as possible.

Environment

Ensure a quiet environment and try to minimize or completely eliminate background noise.

Network

Check your internet connection and make sure it is stable enough to ensure a proper broadcast.
