Is it possible to send a confirmation mail after a registration?

To be able to send an automated confirmation email after a registration, it is first important to activate a registration mask for your event. You can find detailed instructions in this article.

Once you have set this up, you can simply activate the item Registration confirmation.

After a registration, a confirmation email will be sent to the participant automatically. The attendee receives a link to the event with an individual access code.  This means that only those who have registered can participate in your event.
