Yes, it is possible for a conferee/speaker to conduct their presentation or participate at your event via a phone dial-in. However, this function is only possible with an audiocast. This means that to enable a phone dial-in, you need to set your event as an audiocast. For detailed instructions on how to create an event, see this article.
Once you have set up an audiocast event, click Events in the left main menu, select your event from the list, and then click Live Producer.
A new window opens: The Live Producer. PLEASE NOTE: Make sure that your pop-up blocker is disabled.
You can now select your microphone and speaker in the Device Settings and then click Join meeting.
A phone number appears in the video view. You can choose between a German, British and Swedish number via the country code button.
Share the respective number and the corresponding Access code with your speaker/conferee.
He can now dial into the conference. After entering the Access code, he is automatically connected.
He now appears in the list of participants, which can be opened via the button Show participants list on the bottom menu bar in the middle.
The speaker/conferee is displayed by his phone number. You can mute and unmute him by clicking on the microphone. You can also remove him from the conference via the three dots.
When all speakers/conferee are ready and you want to start your event, click Start audiocast.
