The Question-and-Answer Tool is used for interactive communication with the hosts and speakers during the live event. If this tool has been activated, you can easily ask questions to the hosts or speakers.
Depending on the event and setting, it is possible to
- optionally enter your name when asking questions (see picture above).
- ask questions only anonymously.
- In this case, the text field Your Name will not be displayed.
- enter your name mandatory.
- The text field Your Name in this case is a mandatory field.
- have the name displayed automatically due to a previous registration to the event.
- You can edit or delete the name if necessary, when entering a name is optional.
Enter your question or comment in the Ask your question text box. You may use up to 500 characters (including spaces) for your question.
As soon as you have finished, click on Submit.
Depending on the settings, it may also be possible to ask questions via the attendee view before the start of an event.
If the host has set the questions to be visible to attendees, you can follow the questions asked in the attendee view on the right.
A further function of the Question-and-Answer Tool is the Question Voting:
If the option is available, you can vote for the questions asked. To do so, click on the Like button (1) to the right of the question. The number next to it shows you how many votes have been cast so far.
By clicking on the button Sort by votes (2), you can sort the questions by the number of votes given. You can restore the chronological sorting by clicking on the button to the left of it.
If a question has been answered by the hosts, it will be marked as Answered (3) in green. You can hide these questions by clicking on the button Answered questions (4).
