Another innovative feature of SlideSync is the option to put your live event on demand and thus make the recordings available to your attendees even after the event has ended. You have two options to do so: You can set your event to be automatically published to attendees after it has ended, or you can edit it afterwards if necessary and then publish it manually.
Auto publish recordings
To automatically put your recordings on demand when you finish a web- or audiocast, click Events in the left main menu, select your event from the list, and then click Settings.
Scroll down to the setting Auto publish recordings and activate the toggle. Please make sure that the menu item Record is also activated.
PLEASE NOTE: You can also set this as default for all your future events. To do so, click on the user icon in the left main menu at the top and then on Edit Profile. Click on Defaults in the second menu and (de)activate the toggles for the above-mentioned setting options as desired. You can find detailed instructions in this article.
Publish recordings manually
To manually put your recordings on demand, click Events in the left main menu, select your event from the list, and then click Edit recordings.
You either get directly to the editing mode or to the overview of your recordings (if more than one recording is saved): A list of your recordings is seen.
PLEASE NOTE: More than one recording is listed if you have
- sent a backup stream (primary and secondary stream)
- multiple languages have been set and broadcast
- the webcast has been stopped and restarted.
To edit them, click the yellow button Edit on the right or directly on the title of the recording.
You can edit your recording before publishing it if necessary. Detailed instructions on how to edit your recording can be found in this article.
At the top right you will find the button Not public. To publish your recording, click on this button. As soon as it is green and set to Published, your recording is available on demand.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have streamed several languages, you must repeat this process for each language!
You can also use this button to deactivate the publication of your recording.
