Why do the numbers in the Requests section differ?

The section Requests in the Analytics can help you find out how many attendees were connected to your live event at what time and in which language. Please note on the one hand that the statistics only start counting the attendees at the time the event goes live. On the other hand, the shorter the selected time period is set using the calendar function, the more accurate the time-based evaluation will be.

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend limiting the time period of the graph to a maximum of 24 hours or to the duration of the live event!

Date of event with exact time

If you set the date and the exact period of the live event using the calendar function, a minute count of the requests for the respective language is displayed in graphic form.

The SlideSync Player pings on a regular basis and informs you which stream (language) is currently being watched by the attendee. If the user changes the language or stream during the live event, it will be recorded in these statistics.

This means that the requests that are in fact taking place at the same time are displayed in this section.

Date of event with approximate time

If you use the calendar function to set a longer period of time that includes the date of the live event, the number of requests of the streams (language) on the respective day will be displayed in graphic form.

ATTENTION: If a person has switched on both the English and the German stream at least once during the event, this person will be counted twice in the analytics! Due to frequent language switching during the event and the nature of statistical enumeration over several days, the number per day may be higher than it actually is. This duplication is not recorded as such in your billing.
